This is basically apple's first laptop. it is lightweight, well-designed computer as well. but it did not make it. When it was first introduced in 1991, this powerbook sold for $2,500. Far too much for a machine with a 16MHz processor, 2MB RAM and 20MB hardrive. Price cuts the following year brought it to just $1,000 (external floopy drive was for another $250).
